Drinking rather than revising

Alcohol (picture from: nutracheck.co.uk)
ALCOHOL consumption is extremely high in university students. Many drinking before they go out to a pub and then followed by going out to a club. This could affect the way students perform in their lectures and especially the upcoming exams.

Finding new housemates proves to be stressful

ACCOMODATION for students in Canterbury is in high demand, not only is it soon to be first years looking for halls but it is also first years, going into their second year looking for a house within the city.

First year feedback

This interview is life inside a first years head as now the academic year is ending and she looks back on her first year at Christ Church.

Healthy food
BEING healthy is something that everyone is told to do whether they are a student, child or an adult. It is something we all need to do in order to be fit and happy individuals. This could be a difficult and daunting task for students as their budget is tight and sometimes they just cannot be bothered with all the fuss.

To be a healthy person means to have a balanced diet and do plenty of exercise. With students having so much work to do and lots of things to worry about how can they
possibly fit in healthy eating as well as exercising?

Exams are looming

Student studying
PRESSURE to do well in exams has started to be pushed onto Christ Church students. With exams as little as three weeks away individuals are starting to panic about how they are going to memorise a year’s worth of information in such little time.

Some go for the technique of cramming just a few days before their exam, some revise for weeks before to ensure they know everything they would possibly need to know. But which method is best?

Farewell Soap

Soap is now a building site
NIGHTLIFE in Canterbury is criticised heavily by students for not being as good as it could be. With only two nightclubs now in the city students are becoming bored.

The closure of Studio 41 otherwise known as Soap has left the city with one less club; this means that all students are restricted to one of the two clubs, either Chill or Club Chemistry. Canterbury is home to thousands of students from different universities and colleges, the clubs capacity is not overly that high so some students find themselves missing out.
